Our Utility Client is looking for an OracleCC&B Functional Analyst for a 12month RTH. This will require atleast 2 days onsite in Paramus NJ.

Proficiency with Oracle CC&B Application (required 2years minimum)

Description:

TheOracle CC&B Functional Analyst is responsible for providingsupport services for the Oracle Utilities Customer Care and Billing(CC&B) application supporting business in all phases of theITIL Service Lifecycle model.

As a functionalanalyst (not an application developer) this includes workingdirectly with CC&B application users and management in solvingoperational problems designing solutions within to address businessneeds operating routine configuration tasks resolving or assistingin the resolution of incidents conducting and organizing thedelivery of approved business changes and projects and alsosupporting the installation of system patches and/orupgrades.

This position requires a goodunderstanding of the Company business processes and flows in orderto be able to analyze and develop solutions that fit specificbusiness functions. It also necessitates a solid expertise with theCC&B application functionalities to be able to carry out suchchanges.

PRIMARY DUTIES /RESPONSIBILITIES
Foster a close relationshipfor collaboration with business users to facilitate requirementsgathering issue troubleshooting and general businessneeds
Provide application recommendations in the usageand configuration of application functionalities (native or custom)associated to the supported system and/or functionalmodules
Analyze and troubleshoot application issues toacceptable resolution state
Create functional designdocumentation for changes fixes and enhancements based on businessrequirements and work with the technical team where development isneeded
Execute Quality Assurance (QA) testing anddeliver insight and recommendations into best practices
Coordinate testing activities within the team and assist with usertesting process aimed to result in user signoff
Operateas a team player ensuring clear communication within support groupand providing assistance when needed
Suggest applicationenhancements in the supported functions based on observations anduser feedback.
Participate in the application of patchesin the assigned modules in a manner where the system remainscurrent and continues to successfully deliver the expectedfunctionality
Follows change control process whenimplementing changes for the supported business function
Builds familiarity and support the interfaces to and from othersystems that impact the assigned modules
Participate inall phases of project development life cycle
ProvideLevel 2 support to Batch Operation Team as needed for theresolution of incidents and ensure proper completion of allcritical business automated processes. May at times require theassistance of a more experienced Analyst or developer to resolvecomplex incidents.
Monitor application assigned modulesfor compliance to IT standards and policies
Providesregular status information adhoc reports and other documents aimedat keeping track of the support teams progress.

QUALIFICATIONS
Education / Experience / Background

Bachelors Degree in Business (Masters degree in the samefield preferred) Computer Information Systems or a related fieldwith 3 years of experience in a computer science technology serviceor management information systems environment at aminimum
4 years of experience in Applicationsimplementation or lifecycle development; demonstrated experience inplanning documenting validating and testing technicalsolutions
2 years of supportingnightly batch operation

Knowledge / Skills /Abilities

Proficiency with Customer& Field Service modules (preferred)
Experience withMobile Workforce Management integration (preferred)
Experience with external customer facing website integration(preferred)
Experience with application upgrades(preferred)
Experience in working within Agile andWaterfall methodologies and a hybrid of the two
Experience with QA testing ideally leading the functional side oftesting
Knowledge of IS Change ControlProcess
Experience working with offshore resources andcoordinating with vendors
Knowledgeable in the areas ofbusiness covered by the assigned application modules
Strong Communication Skills both Oral and Writing that result indocumented user requirements
Experience in documentingprocess work user integration flows
Ability to carry outsmall to medium complexity projects related to the configuration ofthe application supported. May sometimes require the assistance ofa more experienced analyst to complete tasks associated withcomplex projects
