Job Description

TheArchitect partners with delivery teams to architect design andbuild flexible scalable and resilient applications and servicesthat can more easily adapt to future business needs. The Mobile Appis the Guest facing Native iOS Application. The App is the FrontEndexperience for guests to browse and purchase product as well asengage with other Guest Specific features such as CommunityWishlists Loyalty etc.

A day in the life:

• Lead the business/functional architecture and strategyfor solutions in a manner consistent with lululemon Technologysenterprise architecture applying common frameworks and reusablecomponents
• Help ensure the operationalplatforms and associated interfacing data and systems have beenproperly architected from and endtoend perspective to meet thefunctional and nonfunctional needs of the business
• Work closely with other domain architects (DevOps CICDMobile db and other integrated systems) and development teams tosupport and guide solution implementations and acts as an advisorfor technical resources on projects
• Assist theestimation of dev and QA efforts ensuring proper understanding ofimplementation scope as well as adherence to best practices andmethodical delivery
• Work directly withBusiness Analysts to define and refine technical requirements forfuture work
• Ensure asrequested functionalitygets translated into asdesigned solutions within the context oftimeline resources org structure and quality
• Take ownership of bringing conceptual design down to alevel of detail that can be physically implemented. Ensuring allrequired details and documentations are in the right place on Jiraand confluence.
• Develop and maintain currentand futurestate architecture models
• Stayabreast of industry best practices technologies architecturestrends and emerging technologies
• Partner withdelivery teams to architect design and build flexible scalable andresilient applications and services that can more easily adapt tofuture business needs.
• Conduct code reviewsalongside QA and developers to ensure adherence to specs designsolutions with other architects for system integrations
• Collaborate with DevOps and infra teams for backendsetup
• Participate in technology reviews andconduct asbuilt audit documentation and work with ops readinessteams to design system continuity and support.
• Advise Mobile Developers on best practices andArchitecture usage
• Coordinate MobileApplication Release Processes
• Advise andMonitor Resource usages and costs (AWS)

Qualifications:

• Bachelors degree in computer science/engineering orequivalent work experience
• 35 Years of iOSEngineering Experience
• 35 years of AWSArchitecture Experience
• 3 Years ofArchitecture Experience
• Strong experiencebuilding inhouse apps.
• While proficiency inCloud architecture is not required the experience buildingarchitecture for Apps with a supporting Cloud architectureis.
