Norse Group have a fantastic opportunity for a HR and Payroll Systems Technician to join our HR department based in Norwich on a full time, permanent basis.

The Role:

As we are currently going through a HR & Payroll system transformation project, we are looking for an an Systems Technician to provide a combination of administrative support the team. You will be trained to provide guidance on the use of the system to Norse Superusers and system optimisation. You will need to attend project work shops to keep up to date and gain an overview of the upcoming system implementations including Talent, LMS, WFM and Payroll. Your main responsibilities will consist of:

Attend all training to develop deep understanding of the system in depth. Support the development and delivery of end user training including the HR community. Attend process design workshops and develop understanding of how the systems are configured and the support needed from the systems team to maintain. Support the creation of the testing strategy including hands on testing, UAT administration and review of testing scripts. Continuous improvement of Norses use of HR and Payroll system and realisation of benefits across the group Supporting the management of system upgrades including review of release notes and management of any required UAT before any upgrades are promoted to live. Providing guidance on the use of the system to Norse superusers and system optimisation. Point of escalation of service issues from super users and registering of issues with customer support. Administration of system users accounts and allocation of security profiles. Liaising with IT to ensure compliance with ongoing data and IT standards e.g., browser versions. Liaising with Finance and management of any interface improvements or issues. Primary support for internal teams such as our HR Transactional team and central Ask HR Support Team with system related queries and configuration requests.

This is an exciting opportunity for a technical minded individual to work within a national organisation and gather a detailed understanding of the the system implementation across our HR and Payroll functions. Whilst we will provide full training and ongoing support, we are looking for you to demonstrate:

Proven experience within a similar administration systems role Demonstrate excellent communication skills Confident with learning a new system  Ability to analyse and interpret a wide range of data Ability to work effectively within fast paced environment
