Wolverhampton, United Kingdom Virgin Media O2 Full time

12 months FTC

This is a field based role covering the Birmingham - Wolverhampton region

The role of the  Community Lead  is to support residents and communities through different stages of Virgin Media O2 build, working with departments across the business to build meaningful connections, bring people and communities closer together, and create a sense of belonging.

Your role will be to establish a presence in the different communities where Virgin Media O2’s build activity has been scheduled, and to prepare them for our arrival You'll hold community information events before and during build, ensuring our resident’s interests and wellbeing is at the centre of everything we do, and proactively spotting areas of concern. You'll also work alongside our sales and marketing teams to understand how best to support post build activity - how we turn residents into customers and leave behind a positive presence that demonstrates our strong values and commitment to our communities

This isn't your typical 9 to 5 role - you'll manage your own time, on the road, out and about in our communities. You'll meet with our partners and local authorities too, building positive relationships and establishing yourself as a key contact. It goes without saying that you'll be a people person, able to build rapport and empathise with people from all walks of life. You'll also be super organised with great negotiation skills, and dare we say it, bundles of resilience In return, you'll get a competitive salary, brand new company car, and a role that really allows you to make a difference.

So, we build equity and inclusion into everything we do, from the policies we craft to the relationships we shape. We support and encourage you to be your authentic self throughout your application journey with us.

The must haves

In order to be considered, you must have the following experience;
