The Recovery College has just celebrated its 10 year anniversary and is continuing to grow in terms of course/workshop offer and number of students enrolling. We are looking to recruit a new Recovery Manager to continue driving forward our vision and aspirations for the next 10 years.

The Recovery College prides itself in adhering to the principles of recovery and co-production. We are a cohesive and stable team who really value the contribution of all stakeholders to support the growth and development of this service. We equally value all individuals input, acknowledging and recognising the importance of both lived and learnt experience.

The college receives excellent feedback from students about courses/workshops and how they support their own recovery.

We have recently launched a Discovery College timetable for 16-25 year olds and have exciting plans for the next 12 months to further enhance our accessibility.

Main duties of the job

To manage the Recovery College across Norfolk and Suffolk sites, ensuring that the College develops, creates and delivers a range of recovery focused courses / workshops for service users, staff, relatives, friends and carers in the spirit of co-production, ensuring equity across all sites. Line Management of the Practitioner Tutors, Tutor Development lead, Partnership Lead, and Senior Administrator. Maintaining high quality assurance processes by ensuring the courses/workshops are development and delivered to a high standard and meet the needs of the population. The post holder will hold responsibility for the day to day operational management of the Recovery College and its staff. Link with other National Recovery college networks to keep updated with National and International developments. To provide clinical oversight and assurances, to ensure the services align with best practices and is evidenced based.

Qualifications

Essential

Registered Mental Health Practitioner (Degree level or equivalent) Post-Graduation qualification (Masters or equivalent)

Desirable

Degree or equivalent in Teaching / training / learning and development. Coaching qualifications

Experience
