Bring comfort and security to those who need it most. Join our excellent team, which supports individuals in their own homes around the Morecambe and Heysham area.

Shifts can be anywhere between 7am-11pm. We also offer a protected day/time off to better allow you to plan your life.
As part of our highly-trained team you'll work with people to enable them to live happy lives, while promoting their independence. You will also learn specialist skills to ensure we have a safe environment for our clients, which includes breakaway training and ligature rescue.
Here's some of the highlights of working at Specialist Care Team . . .
We pay more – We believe in paying a fair price for an outstanding job for our team members. As a member of the day team, you'll receive a basic £11.75 per hour.
Flexible working – Whether you have regular driving lessons, play squash on a Thursday night and want to work later or need to look after a family member, we understand you may have commitments elsewhere and will always aim to have a flexible approach to your availability. For our fill time colleagues we also offer a protected regular day off in the week to allow you to plan things.
Guaranteed contract hours – We don't believe in offering 'zero hour' contracts as standard – all of our team members have a guaranteed number of hours each week, which can range anywhere from 8-40 hours depending on whether you want to work part- or full-time
Investing in you – You need the best tools to carry out a high level of care, and that's why you'll be fully-trained by our in-house team and members of our community team are given a work mobile phone so you can perform to the best of your ability
What we need from you:
Everyone working in social care needs a good standard of English, as well as numeracy and digital skills. You will need to enjoy working in a team and you need to be good at problem-solving.
You will also need to be flexible to the needs of the business across our Mental Health facilities.
While you'll be working with complex clients so experience in care is desirable, preferably in Mental Health. However full training is given anyway and we will make allowances for the right person
Additional skills required to join our team include:
