Your typical day could start with providing personal care to customers as well as supporting them to achieve the outcomes set out in their care plan. Then you might be assisting in promoting social activities for your customers.

As a Direct Payment Support Worker, you’ll be assisting people to live their best life. You will deliver a high quality, effective personal care and housing related support to customers living within a service.

You’ll be passionate about making a real difference to people’s lives, and supporting them to be as independent, safe, healthy and happy as they possibly can be.

You’ll enjoy working collaboratively with other teams and you’re first rate at building effective relationships with colleagues and partner agencies regarding safeguarding, welfare, and risk concerns.

Able to work 37.5 hours a week Have an understanding and ability to respond to people’s unique needs and desires. Kind with empathy and respect the individual characteristics and needs of a very diverse range of customers. Knowledgeable or have an understanding of housing support needs and benefits.
