We have a very excitingopportunity for a BUSINESS DEVELOPMENTMANAGER covering the Staffordshire and Chesireareas. This is a fantastic opportunity for the right candidate tojoin a large dynamic organisation selling into the Trade andBuildersMerchants.

Purpose

Tomaximise sales potential of a defined area by increasing productsales to the identified market segments and by achieving growth inthe size of the customer base through the effective management anddevelopment of a portfolio of customers. To deliver sales targetsacross all categories.

  • To support thedelivery of the company vision
  • To support zeroharm within the business
  • To ensure that ourclient is the fastest and most effective distributor at introducingnew products to its chosen markets through:
  • Supporting the increased penetration of the targetedcustomer groups
  • Supporting the achievement ofsales targets for new products whilst maintaining growth onexisting products
  • Increase and maximizecurrent sales volumes
  • Support the introductionof sales of new and specialist products to customers within theregion supporting the ASMs to ensure sales and margin targets areachieved
  • Seek out opportunities to identifyfuture and existing sales opportunities within theArea

Knowledge Skills &Experience Required

  • Proven trackrecord of achieving sales targets.
  • Proventrack record of developing customer relationships to increasebusiness
  • Previous experience of customermanagement
  • Proven ability to influence keydecisionmakers to achieve results
  • Strongbusiness acumen.
  • Good written and verbalcommunication skills
  • Numerate andproblemsolving skillsessential
