In this role youll join ourcollaborative team embedded within one of the UKs largest longtermsavings businesses. Embracing a hybrid working model youll spendtwo days a week at the end clients office fostering closecollaboration and understanding. As a BI Developer youll overseethe entire development lifecycle working closely with stakeholderssuch as Project Managers and Technical Architects to design deployand maintain BI frameworks tailored to our clients needs.Additionally digx offers extensive training opportunities allowingyou to gain certifications that will enhance your expertise andfuel your career growth. Tasks
  • Championadherence to quality gates and milestones within the SoftwareDevelopment Lifecycle.
  • Collaborate with diverseteams ensuring seamless delivery of technicalsolutions.
  • Take the lead in crafting andpresenting technical designs for stakeholderapproval.
  • Mentor junior developers fostering aculture of continuous improvement.
  • Ensure highstandards of quality maintainability and performance throughthorough reviews.
  • Maintain clear and concisedocumentation to support ongoingoperations.
  • Facilitate smooth handover andknowledge transfer to support teams for productionapplications.
  • Uphold strict adherence to changeand configuration managementprocesses.
Requirements

Essential:

  • Experiencedeveloping Extract Transformation and Load (ETL) processes usingInformatica PowerCenter.
  • Experience workingwith Oracle databases in a developmentenvironment.
  • Experience using SQL DeveloperSQL*Loader and TOAD tools in a developmentenvironment.
  • Experience with Oracle SQL& PL/SQL.
  • Experience in solutionestimating.
  • Full life cycle implementationexposure of datawarehouses.

Desired:

  • Experiencedin the Financial sector adept at developing tailored BusinessObjects solutions.
  • Skilled in integratingdiverse data sources including XML files for comprehensiveinsights.
  • Expert in implementing complexbusiness rules efficiently using reusabletransformations.
  • Proficient in optimisingsolutions for peak performance using advanced tuningmethods.
  • Experienced in leveraging Informaticacommand line utilities for streamlined workflowmanagement.
