What you'll be working:

  • Full time hours - 37.5 Hours a week.
  • £25,000 pro rata
  • 09:00 to 17::00
  • Monday to Friday

What you'll be doing:

  • Maintaining and updating the training matrix and training planner on a regular basis; Liaising with external training providers to ensure training is provided as per the annual training planner.
  • Responsible for organising the monthly site-based induction programme; - Supporting organising in-house training and development events.
  • Assist in the monitoring and maintenance of all documentation relating to staff holidays, sickness and absence. Provide regular information to Administrator/ Registered Manager/and other relevant line managers on staff sickness, in accordance with Company Policy.
  • To be responsible for assisting with the recruitment procedures including - Advertising of posts in liaison with the corporate recruitment team. Support the manager in managing all on-line applications. Set up interviews/assessments and support with the facilitation on the day and undertake the necessary document checks
  • The ideal candidate will be responsible for planning and preparing the rota for our carers and to accommodate any changes to the schedule as required.
  • Planning the rota for all staff at Bethany House and Bethany Lodge.
  • Coordinating with agencies to ensure that shifts are covered.
  • Identifying gaps in the rota and liaising with Bank staff and Agencies to ensure that service has appropriate level of staffing.
  • Report weekly on recruitment needs, gaps in rotas, Support Worker availability and concerns to Registered Manager and Deputy Manager

What you'll have:

Excellent communication and interpersonal skills

Organisational skills

IT literate with good typing skills and confident using a range of programmes including Email, Word, Excel, PowerPoint.

Time management skills and the ability to prioritise workload effectively

Customer service skills

Problem-solving skills and the ability to come up with creative solutions to issues.

Able to work with a team, take direction from others and collaborate effectively.
