Job Summary:
We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Retail Supervisor to join our team at Morgan Jones. As a Retail Supervisor, you will be responsible for overseeing the daily operations of our retail store, ensuring excellent customer service, and driving sales growth.
Key Responsibilities:
- Supervise and Train Volunteers: Lead and develop a team of volunteers to achieve sales targets and provide exceptional customer service.
- Support Retail Shop Manager: Collaborate with the Retail Shop Manager to implement store strategies, manage inventory, and maintain a high level of customer satisfaction.
- Complete Store Admin: Assist with administrative tasks, including data entry, reporting, and maintaining accurate records.
- Implement H&S Policy: Ensure compliance with health and safety policies and protocols, and lead by example in maintaining a safe working environment.
- Drive Sales Growth: Analyze sales data, identify trends, and implement strategies to meet and exceed sales targets.
- Manage Inventory: Oversee the receipt, storage, and distribution of merchandise, ensuring accurate stock levels and minimizing waste.
- Lead by Example: Demonstrate exceptional customer service skills, and provide coaching and feedback to team members to ensure a high level of customer satisfaction.
Person Specification:
- Analytical and Organizational Skills: Possess excellent analytical and organizational skills to manage multiple tasks, prioritize responsibilities, and meet deadlines.
- Previous Management Experience: Have previous management or supervisory experience in retail, preferably in a similar role.
- Ability to Meet KPIs: Proven ability to meet and exceed Key Performance Indicators (KPIs), including sales targets and customer satisfaction metrics.
- Leadership and Communication Skills: Possess strong leadership and communication skills to motivate and develop a team, and build effective relationships with colleagues and customers.
- Numeracy and IT Skills: Be numerate and comfortable with IT systems, including point-of-sale software and data analysis tools.
