DescriptionPurpose of role  As Events & Communications Manager within the Partnerships team your role is to create and deliver creative, high-quality events, communications and marketing for our income generating partners. The events and comms you will produce will demonstrate to our partners the strategic value of London & Partners work to grow the London economy and support our partnership value proposition. 

You will contribute through effective comms and events to our income growth from partners. You will work closely with the Director of Partnerships, Head of Business Partnerships and Head of Tourism Partnerships to ensure that Partner benefits are delivered, and satisfaction ratings of partners remains high. 
Key Tasks
  • Plan, coordinate and deliver partner events in collaboration Head of Tourism Partnerships/ Head of Business Partnerships 
  • Create impactful and creative comms strategy for all partners aligned to L&P strategy. 
  • Responsible for creation and management of the overall events budget  
  • Support the communication and marketing strategy between London & Partners and its members & partners, including key partner and stakeholder events 
  • Work with the Head of Account Management to develop and deliver Sales promotion campaign to drive paid partnership and growth of Tourism Community 
  • Collaborate with teams across the organisation to ensure you are building knowledge of our programmes and networks 
  • Build knowledge of our partners and their objectives by attending events; networking with partners and joining the Partnerships team account managers on meetings with partners. 
  • Other general administrative duties/projects to maintain the smooth running of the department 
  • Manage members Linkedin group and any other social media platforms 
  • Manage the Tourism Partners portal and work with relevant teams to create compelling content for Partners. 
  • Responsible for the production of any required marketing collateral including the partnerships webpages 
  • Manage the partner surveys and NPS score process working with the relevant Account Managers 
  • Line management of Events & Comms Exec 
 Any other reasonable duties as allocated by the line manager. e.g weekly management reports, attendance at meetings, etc 

You’ll have/bringSkills 
  • Significant event management experience 
  • Marketing experience, preferably B2B 
  • Copywriting 
  • Event ops experience 
  • Experience of managing events budgets 
  • Experience of working with a CRM system, preferably SalesForce 
  • Excellent communication skills – verbal & written 
  • Computer literate – Microsoft Office products Word and Excel 
 Competencies 
  • End to end event management experience across digital, live and hybrid events 
  • Experienced in developing Marketing and Communications plans 
  • Able to produce high quality copy to deliver comms in a variety of styles and platforms 
  • Experience of working with a CRM system, preferably SalesForce to track activity 
  • Creative thinker, adept at working collaboratively across the organisation to deliver ROI for Partners. 
  • Comfortable with having to adjust Marketing and Comms plans to reflect ambiguous and/or fast changing priorities. 
  • Able to develop strong relationships with internal and external stakeholders to build industry knowledge and contacts 
  • Able to deliver projects with the team using all available resources, measuring and monitoring performance throughout.
