Tasks and Qualifications:

What will you do in this role?

Lead, mentor, and develop your team members to achieve their full potential.

Oversee the hiring process to attract and recruit top talent for your team.

Provide peer coaching to new members of the team on technical and organisational matters.

Act as Product Owner / Product Owner Agent for the area of controls for the team.

Participate in all aspects of the software development lifecycle, including hands-on design, implementation, documentation and validation.

As part of the development team actively engage design reviews and demonstrations to stakeholders.

Ensure that quality is designed into the product from the very start of development.

In conjunction with test engineer devise strong unit/ integrated test cases.

Develop emulation components to allow testing of development and project software.

Ensure good coordination and collaboration with other development teams that are working on the same technology platform and/or product stream.

What are we looking for?

Educated to degree level in Computer Science / Engineering or equivalent qualification is expected.

Proven experience in leading and mentoring a team of controls engineers.

Strong technical knowledge in PLC Software Development, MS office suite applications, Object Orientated Design Concepts.

Full working proficiency in English.

Enthusiasm for software development and innovation.

Excellent communication skills and a customer-focused mindset, with a high level of organization and quality orientation.

Strong problem solving and decision-making skills.

Willingness to travel internationally for up to 10%.

Beneficial Skills:

Familiarity with Agile Software Processes.

Familiarity with Task/Issue Tracking (Jira/Kanban).

Knowledge of Emulate3D.
