The role of Wine Bar Manager:

Helping to manage the day to day operation of the restaurant bar Ensuring that all company standards are adhered to Menu development in collaboration with the Head of Wine and Head of Bars Taking every step to enhance guest experiences Training, development and supervision of bar team members Effectively handling guest queries, complaints and feedback An integral part of the wider management team Supporting recruitment, induction and appraisals of new employees

What we’re looking for in a Wine Bar Manager:

Expertise in European wines, a keen interest in Orange and Natural wines, and proficiency in classic cocktails

A true understanding of quality service and a close eye for detail Actively engage with guests and develop a database of wine enthusiasts. Supervise all wine-related activities and events. The ability to motivate and encourage a team and work in collaboration with all departments is critical. The desire to strive for excellence and inspire others To embody the highest standards of hospitality and service delivery A good level of financial awareness, cost control and payroll A good level of knowledge in Health & Food Safety Applicants will need to be able to commit to being available for all days and all shifts on the rota Strong verbal and written communication skills are essential Experience of working in a senior bar management role within a similar quality restaurant environment

Expected earnings from £18.62 per hour
