Job Description:

Inception Group is seeking an experienced Bar Manager in London to join the team. The successful candidate will be responsible for managing our bar operations, ensuring that our customers receive an exceptional experience while maintaining high standards of service, quality, and cleanliness.

Responsibilities:

  • Manage all aspects of the bar operations, including hiring, training, scheduling, and supervising staff.
  • Ensure that the bar is properly stocked with inventory, supplies, and equipment and that all equipment is in good working order.
  • Create and maintain a bar menu that offers a variety of high-quality drinks and cocktails that meet the expectations of our customers.
  • Develop and implement policies and procedures that promote responsible alcohol service and compliance with local regulations and laws.
  • Monitor inventory levels and order supplies as needed, and maintain accurate records of sales and inventory.
  • Work closely with the marketing team to develop promotions and events that drive sales and customer engagement.
  • Maintain a clean and safe environment in the bar, ensuring that all equipment, surfaces, and utensils are properly cleaned and sanitized.
  • Handle customer complaints and resolve issues in a timely and professional manner.
  • Manage the bar budget and track expenses to ensure that costs are within budgeted levels.

Requirements:

  • At least 3 years of experience in a similar role, preferably in a high-volume, fast-paced environment.
  • Proven track record of managing staff and driving sales growth.
  • Strong knowledge of beverage service, including cocktails, wine, and spirits.
  • Excellent communication, leadership, and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to work flexible hours, including weekends and holidays.
  • Familiarity with local regulations and laws regarding alcohol service and sales.
  • High attention to detail and excellent organizational skills.
  • A passion for delivering exceptional customer service.
