Role Purpose: Working with the People services Project and Programme manager to deliver the people services workplan and successful planning and delivery of people services initiative and projects. Key responsibilities/ deliverables: •Assist in the development of detailed project plans, timelines, and resource allocation.•Coordinate project activities, ensuring tasks are assigned, monitored, and completed within established timelines.•Provide support to projects, including scheduling meetings, preparing agendas, and documenting actions.•Maintain accurate project documentation, including timelines, decision logs and project progress reports.•Assist in the delivery of the People services work plan. Working collaboratively with team members to support various initiatives and projects.•Support the timely submission of deliverables and facilitate decision making processes across the team.•Support the management of the people services budget, through regular review of monthly spend.•Support the design and delivery of People services awaydays and quarterly team people meetings. Support logistical arrangements, agenda preparations and coordination of activities.•Establish and implement a systematic and timely process for reviewing and updating policies and contracts across people services, ensuring they remain current and meet compliance requirements. Knowledge, skills and competencies:  •Educated to GCSE level or equivalent in Maths & English (Grades A* - C)•Previous experience in a project coordination role, demonstrating effective support for project managers and teams.•Understanding of fundamental project management principles, methodologies, and best practices.•Strong organisational skills with the ability to prioritise tasks and manage multiple activities and projects simultaneously.•Proficient in data management and analysis •Proficient in Microsoft Office suite •Attention to detail and accuracy in documentation and reporting.•Ability to work collaboratively as part of a team and independently with minimal supervision.Whatever the role, we want you to bring your knowledge and experience to play your part in improving people’s lives.
