**Role Purpose**:
Working with the People services Project and Programme manager to deliver the people services workplan and successful planning and delivery of people services initiative and projects.

**Key responsibilities/ deliverables**:

- Assist in the development of detailed project plans, timelines, and resource allocation.
- Coordinate project activities, ensuring tasks are assigned, monitored, and completed within established timelines.
- Provide support to projects, including scheduling meetings, preparing agendas, and documenting actions.
- Maintain accurate project documentation, including timelines, decision logs and project progress reports.
- Assist in the delivery of the People services work plan. Working collaboratively with team members to support various initiatives and projects.
- Support the timely submission of deliverables and facilitate decision making processes across the team.
- Support the management of the people services budget, through regular review of monthly spend.
- Support the design and delivery of People services awaydays and quarterly team people meetings. Support logístical arrangements, agenda preparations and coordination of activities.
- Establish and implement a systematic and timely process for reviewing and updating policies and contracts across people services, ensuring they remain current and meet compliance requirements.

**Knowledge, skills and competencies**:

- Educated to GCSE level or equivalent in Maths & English (Grades A* - C)
- Previous experience in a project coordination role, demonstrating effective support for project managers and teams.
- Understanding of fundamental project management principles, methodologies, and best practices.
- Strong organisational skills with the ability to prioritise tasks and manage multiple activities and projects simultaneously.
- Proficient in data management and analysis
- Proficient in Microsoft Office suite
- Attention to detail and accuracy in documentation and reporting.
- Ability to work collaboratively as part of a team and independently with mínimal supervision.
