Main duties of the job

As aSenior Cardiac Physiologist, you will provide your clinical opinion on ECGanalysis and be responsible for performing quality control (QC) on otherCardiac Data Analysts reports. You will also be expected to complete reportingon 12 lead and Holter data.

Patients are a mixture of NHS, private and clinicaltrials. You will utilise your expertise in physiology and cardiology to deliverhigh-quality care and contribute to the accurate diagnosis and treatment ofpatients.

Job responsibilities

Toprovide accurate investigation, analysis, interpretation and measurement of ECGdata. To provide administrative support in accordancewith the industry requirements and working to the companys Standard OperatingProcedures (SOP) at all times. To support with training and mentoring of the Analyst team. Monitoring of industry requirements andimplementation of CPD (Continual Professional Development). The maintenance and updating of all relevantrecords to include all new procedures and techniques. Comply with the companys inter and intraoperator variability requirements. Providing technical assistance for clients. Administrative duties relating to thedepartment. Ensuring compliance to all Quality ControlProcedures and GCP. Experience

Essential

Minimum of 2 years post qualification experience as a Cardiac Physiologist with a special interest in Analysis.

Desirable

Experience of mentoring/training Working knowledge of Spacelabs, Pathfinder & other operating platforms

Qualifications

Essential

BSc in Clinical Physiology or equivalent 24 hour Holter analysis.

Desirable

SCST registration (desirable) willingness to work towards SCST Diploma in ECG interpretation Ability to communicate well both verbally and in writing. Teaching/mentoring skills desirable
