Job Overview

We are seeking a dedicated Senior Audiology Specialist to deliver comprehensive Adult Audiology assessments to our clients and patients, adhering to the highest standards of quality and clinical excellence.

The position demands exceptional interpersonal and communication abilities. A high level of literacy and numeracy is essential, and the successful candidate must possess the necessary qualifications and be registered with the appropriate professional bodies. Given the sensitive nature of the role, precision and strict compliance with our quality protocols and Standard Operating Procedures (SOP) are paramount.

Key Responsibilities

1. Adhere to the company's Standard Operating Procedures as outlined in the SOP documentation.

2. Oversee and mentor the audiology department personnel.

3. Manage patient interactions and prepare them for audiological assessments.

4. Conduct Pure Tone Audiometry evaluations.

5. Perform Bone Conduction Audiometry tests.

6. Execute Tympanometry and Acoustic Reflex assessments.

7. Carry out ear mould impressions.

8. Facilitate hearing aid and mould fittings.

9. Ensure exemplary patient/client care, maintaining cleanliness and organization in clinical settings.

10. Utilize the patient management system effectively.

11. Develop procedural algorithms and draft operational guidelines.

12. Continuously update and enhance professional knowledge, including new methodologies and techniques.

13. Administer the Auditbase system for maintenance and operational tasks, leveraging strong knowledge of Auditbase and Auricle.

14. Manage audiology stock levels, ensuring accurate inventory control.

15. Drive the development of Audiology Services, aiming to expand patient capacity and service offerings, including the potential launch of a private hearing aid service and growth into pediatric audiology.
