People Partner Fixed Term Contract

You'll receive:
- A salary from £40,000 to £45,000pa dependent on experience.

Your typical day in this role:
- Our People are at the heart of everything we do. As People Partner, you'll support our ambitions in our 'Proud to Care' company value. Working in the Business Partnering team, you'll be providing effective people advice and support to leaders and colleagues on all people matters. You will support continuous improvement to enhance performance, culture, engagement, leadership and talent aligned to the business strategy.
- Providing a proactive and customer focused people service across the business as a trusted adviser, you'll advise leaders and colleagues on all employment related queries and HR policy/process, sharing best practice and knowledge. You'll manage and support all HR employee lifecycle activity, working collaboratively with leaders and colleagues across the business. Managing employee relations casework from start to resolution, you'll ensure timely conclusion and adherence to policy and employment legislation.
- Proactively managing absence cases with the HR administrative team, you'll work effectively with leaders to support colleagues and liaising with our external partners to support colleague wellbeing.
You'll develop, review and continuously improve HR policy and procedures to drive performance and mitigate risks ensuring compliance to all legislative requirements. Supporting the team in managing and co-ordinating the performance management cycle, you will take responsibility for any communication and administrative requirements. The People Partner will be supporting a range of HR projects as required.
You'll already have:
- Significant experience of working in a similar HR/People function role. CIPD Level 3 is required as a minimum.
- Proven experience of successful HR operational delivery working in a fast-paced environment with conflicting and evolving priorities.
- HR systems knowledge
- Experience of managing employee relations and absence cases.
- Up-to date and good working knowledge of employment legislation and best practice.
- Effective relationship building and communication skills.
- Proficiency in Microsoft applications and be numerate and data driven.
- Excellent attention to detail with a customer focused approach.
- Comfortable working remotely and office based with a high level of autonomy.
- Flexible, adaptable and able to work in complex, fast paced environments.
- Hospitality or service provider background is a plus but not essential
