**HR Advisor (Immediate Start)**
**Location**: Tadcaster, LS24 9HB, Hybrid working available
**Salary**: £25K - £35K per annum, DOE
**Contract**: Fixed Term Contract, 3 - 4 months

**In addition to this as our HR Advisor you will be responsible for**:
- Provide a proactive and customer focused people service as an adviser on all employment related queries and HR policy/process sharing best practice and knowledge.
- Maintain an accurate and efficient HR database with employee information and necessary documentation, including administering new starters, changes and leavers on the system
- Manage employee relations casework from start to resolution in a timely manner and in accordance with policy and employment legislation.
- Proactively manage absence cases working effectively with leaders to support colleagues and liaising with our external partners as required to support colleague wellbeing. Make OH referrals where appropriate and liaise with line managers on effective absence case management.
- Support recruitment and selection activity, working closely with Hiring Managers.
- Support the management of the HR inbox dealing with queries promptly.
- Produce management information and reports as required.
- Support HR projects as required.
**In order to be successful in this role you must have**:
- Experience of working in an HR capacity, with HR advisory skills managing varied casework
- Good written and oral communication skills and confidence to liase with stakeholders at all levels
- Effective at building strong working relationships
- Good attention to detail
- Flexible in approach, and able to prioritise
- Experience of working with HR systems
- Team player and able to work independently
- Ability to work under pressure and to deadlines, managing competing priorities at times
**It would be great if you were qualified to CIPD Level 3 or above, but this is not essential**
