We hope our guests never need them, but knowing we have a Security team on call all year-round provides peace of mind and reassurance.

SECURITY OFFICER | £12.94 per hour

We are looking for a cheerful and efficient Security Officer to work within a small team, responsible for the Security of our village. This role is paramount to our guest journey as you will represent their first impressions of Center Parcs.

Duties will include:

Welcoming guests, visitors, and colleagues to the village on a daily basis Carrying out vehicle, cycle, and foot patrols, conducting vehicle checks Escorting colleagues moving high volume items across the village Responding to emergencies, including liaising with the emergency services and writing incident reports

The ideal candidate will have the ability to remain calm under pressure, with the ability to communicate competently both verbally and in writing. A First Aid qualification is essential and full training will be given if necessary.

HOURS OF WORK

You will be contracted to work 168 hours per 4-week period on a flexible basis. This means that your days and hours of work could vary each week, but you will always receive at least your contracted hours each period.

As our village is open 365 days of the year, your working hours will include weekends, public / bank holidays and during Christmas and / or New Year on a rota basis.

ABOUT YOU

Essential requirements:

Good communication skills, both orally and written Ability to perform under pressure A good knowledge of IT systems Friendly, genuine, and warm towards colleagues and guests Current Full Driver’s licence SIA door supervisor badge or willing to undertake training First Aid at work certificate or willing to undertake training

Previous Security experience
