Voice and Influence Adviser

We are looking for a part-time Voice and Influence Adviser (29.6 hours) to cover maternity leave until 30th September 2025. You will be joining the UK Voice and Influence Team in delivering Barnardo's vision of ensuring that the voices and lived experiences of children and young people are at the heart of everything that we do as a charity, they inform how we work and the decisions we make in every part of Barnardo's.

As part of this team, you will play an active role in working alongside Children's Services colleagues to lead, inspire and enable excellent and inclusive voice and influence practice to take place.

Key activities and requirements

You will required to work across the UK but have a lead focus for one particular geographical area (to be determined upon appointment) As a Voice and Influence Adviser, you will need to have at least 5 years experience of working directly with children and/or young people in a health, social care, education or youth work setting.  You will be required to design, deliver and evaluate voice and influence activities You will be required to develop tools, training, resources and guidance for professionals to use with children and young people

Secondments would be considered
