About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled Policy and Public Affairs Officer (Wales) to join our team at Barnardo's Cymru. The successful candidate will work closely with our Senior Policy and Public Affairs Lead for Wales to develop and implement our influencing plan, with a focus on raising the profile and influence of Barnardo's amongst policy stakeholders and decision-makers.

Key Responsibilities
  • Conduct research and produce reports to inform our influencing strategy
  • Monitor policy developments and liaise with policy stakeholders to ensure our voice is heard
  • Support reactive policy work and event management to publicise our work
  • Work with colleagues to put the voices of children, young people, families, and our services at the heart of our influencing
