We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Voice and Influence Adviser to join our UK Voice and Influence Team on a part-time basis. As a key member of our team, you will play a vital role in delivering our vision of ensuring that the voices and lived experiences of children and young people are at the heart of everything we do.
Key Responsibilities- Work closely with Children's Services colleagues to lead, inspire, and enable excellent and inclusive voice and influence practice across the UK.
- Design, deliver, and evaluate voice and influence activities that promote the participation and empowerment of children and young people.
- Develop tools, training, resources, and guidance for professionals to use with children and young people, ensuring that their voices are heard and valued.
- Collaborate with stakeholders to identify and address barriers to voice and influence, and develop strategies to promote inclusive practice.
- At least 5 years of experience working directly with children and/or young people in a health, social care, education, or youth work setting.
- Proven track record of designing and delivering effective voice and influence initiatives that promote the participation and empowerment of children and young people.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build strong relationships with colleagues, stakeholders, and children and young people.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team, with a flexible and adaptable approach to meet the needs of the role.
