What's the role?

Our Energy & Industry Specialist Account Managers role is all about having meaningful interactions with some of our largest, most complex clients within the Industrial sector, taking a consultative approach to support them in improving productivity, safety, and sustainability.

Due to growth in our E&I division we are looking for an Account Manager to support an array of customers in the Industrial sector, including Food and Beverage, Manufacturing, Modular Construction, Pharma, and Facilities management, to name a few. Covering customers from Merseyside- North Wales & surrounding areas.

What does the role involve?

Ours is a model of professional consultative selling, and it’s a hands-on job.

On a day-to-day basis, you can expect to:

Be a Hilti Champion – you’ll carry the technical knowledge to present high level customer consultations in your defined territory and represent the Hilti brand in the marketplace. Further develop ‘focus’ customers by building relationships, presenting our solutions as well as uncovering new business. Maintain a high self-drive and commitment to achieve consistent results. Applying a solution-based strategic approach to working with customers on a long-term basis. Demonstrate our innovative products and state-of-the-art software to customers. Be responsible for the operational, organisational and strategic management of your sales area, fully utilizing the top-in-class CRM system, Salesforce.

What you need is:

Customer facing B2B sales experience. Strong commercial experience Construction industry/ technical sales experience desirable Solution-oriented approach – you have the ability to uncover customers’ pain points and needs in order to provide our best-suited solutions You share our values – commitment, teamwork, courage and integrity Resilience and adaptability – you will be comfortable to meet all levels of customer from a site operator to managing director Drive – a motivated approach to achieving success and overcoming challenges Curiosity – you have a passion to learn, develop and grow Organizational skills – you are excellent at managing your time and priorities, and can easily work autonomously A full, clean, manual UK driving license to visit our customers on site 5 days a week, Monday to Friday
