Role Overview:

Are you passionate about retail and customer service? As a Retail Sales Associate at 8Bits, you will be at the forefront of our retail operations, assisting customers, driving sales, and ensuring that our store reflects the vibrant and exciting nature of our brand. Your role will be crucial in creating a welcoming environment and providing top-notch service.

 

Key Responsibilities:

  • Greet and engage with customers, providing assistance and information about our products and services.
  • Assist customers in making purchasing decisions by offering product recommendations and answering inquiries.
  • Process transactions accurately using the point-of-sale (POS) system, handling cash, credit card, and other forms of payment.
  • Maintain a well-organized and visually appealing sales floor, ensuring that products are displayed attractively.
  • Restock merchandise and ensure that shelves are fully stocked and properly labeled.
  • Assist with inventory management, including receiving shipments and conducting stock counts.
  • Promote ongoing sales, promotions, and loyalty programs to customers.
  • Resolve customer issues and concerns in a professional and timely manner.
  • Work collaboratively with team members to achieve sales targets and ensure a smooth operation of the store.
  • Participate in training sessions and stay updated on product knowledge and sales techniques.

  • Previous experience in a retail or sales role is preferred but not required.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills with a friendly and approachable demeanor.
  • Ability to work well in a team environment and contribute to a positive store atmosphere.
  • Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.
  • Proficiency in using POS systems and basic computer skills.
  • A passion for delivering excellent customer service and achieving sales goals.
  • Flexibility to work various shifts, including weekends and holidays as needed.
  • Enthusiasm for the entertainment industry and a desire to stay informed about our products and services.
