Job summary

Nottinghamshire Healthcare NHS Foundation Trust has a new and exciting development called the Youth Impact Board. Targeting young people aged 16-24, the Youth Impact Board, will provide a platform which support the involvement of young people in making changes within a range of Nottinghamshire Health Care services. The Youth Impact Board is a result of young people wanting influence and to have a stronger voice within the governance and services that are for them and more accessible pathways into the workforce for young people, ensuring youth voice is heard, respected and representative. Its aim is to have an impact and create positive change.

This is an exciting opportunity that will enable the Trust to develop in the right way for young people, demonstrating real value to youth voice and enabling young people to develop skills, and to support their career development.

Working with the Involvement staff leads within the Trust and young people who have been part of establishing the concept of the Youth Impact Board, you will support and develop ideas and approaches into firm actions and ways of working. The role will be supported by staff and mentoring.

Main duties of the job

The core task you will work on are:

communications, including the promotional material we develop and using social media the welcome and recruitment packs to support young people to get involved how the Youth Impact Board will operate, how we plan and record the outcome of meetings how we engage and involve diverse community groups across Nottinghamshire

Please note that this post does not meet the pay level required for a Skilled worker visa. Successful applicants with no prior NHS experience would normally be placed at the bottom of the band in line with Agenda for Change. This salary is below the minimum salary required for sponsorship for a Skilled Worker / Health & Care visa. In these circumstances the Trust would not, therefore, be able to sponsor for a Skilled Worker / Health & Care visa.Applicants requiring a Skilled Worker Visa can determine the likelihood of obtaining a
