Working Hours: 37 hours per week for full-time roles / 26 hours per week for part-time roles (flexible hours available)

Role Overview:

The primary responsibility is to deliver personalized assistance to young individuals facing complex challenges, particularly those at risk of engaging in youth violence and criminal activities. This role involves mentoring youth and young adults, providing customized and structured support to help them overcome obstacles and develop essential life skills, ultimately aiming to reduce the likelihood of offending behaviors. Additionally, the role includes facilitating pathways for young people into education, employment, and recreational activities. Collaboration with the team is crucial to drive systemic improvements, addressing the barriers that hinder the lives of young individuals.

Key Responsibilities:

Engage with young people and young adults through individual or group sessions, utilizing diverse interventions to assess needs and achieve favorable outcomes. Collaborate effectively with child and adult services, including social care, criminal justice, education, health agencies, and other community organizations, to deliver optimal support. Work with high-risk youth and young adults to prevent involvement in criminal activities and youth violence. Contribute to the ongoing development of services. Implement safeguarding and protection protocols for children and young adults. Manage resources and equipment related to service delivery. Maintain accurate case records, assist in report preparation, and ensure management information is up to date. Promote and uphold health, safety, and security standards within the work environment. Conduct consultations with young individuals to influence decision-making processes that impact their lives and shape the services they receive.
