We are looking for a Sr. Manager, Patient Recruitment & Retention to join our A-team (hybrid*/remote). As a Sr. Manager, Patient Recruitment & Retention at Allucent, you are responsible for the overall coordination and management of Patient Engagement activities spanning both the proposal and study execution stages. Patient Engagement activities cover both Patient Recruitment and Retention and Allucent’s Patient Direct Trials solutions.

In this role your key tasks will include:

Patient Recruitment and Retention 

The Sr. Manager, Patient Engagement will be responsible for developing, managing, and deploying specific Patient Recruitment and Retention strategies and tactics that may include but are not limited to: 

Recruitment and Retention materials in line with study need and agreed study scope. These may be developed via a vendor or via our in-house capabilities. Working with and managing digital outreach campaign / vendor in line with study timelines, geographical reach  Coordinating and managing deployment of site-specific strategies such as Clinical Enrollment Managers, Enrollment Assistants or other site supporting tactics as agreed  Working closely with (and in coordination with the sponsor) designated Patient Advocacy Groups to support the study as per agreed scope. Dependent on study scope may oversee and manage junior members of the Patient Engagement team with regards to deliverables, project allocation, utilization and workload and assist this team in managing time and tasks to adhere to study budget and timelines, while achieving quality, compliance and efficiency. Manages the day-to-day functional and organizational activities for assigned studies.  Other responsibilities as required.

PDT offering

The Sr. Manager, Patient Engagement will be responsible for coordinating, managing Allucent’s Patient Direct Trial offering. 

Working closely with our PDT partner and our sponsors to ensure PDT deliverables stay on track and on time.  Conduct UAT testing of study specific PDT Patient Apps. Working cross functionally as required by the PDT scope with other Allucent departments such as Biometrics, Project Management, Consultancy, GCO and study start-up.

Leadership

Keeps oversight to ensure compliance to the SOPs and ICH/GCP/regulatory guidelines and best practices as well compliance to the department and project metrics. Where needed, initiates course of action to achieve/ sustain compliance and efficiency. Contributes to Patient Engagement system and process improvement initiatives.  Is an active member of the Patient Engagement management team. Leads by example and encourages PE team members to develop strong solutions for clinical trial delivery. May be assigned as line manager.

Requirements

To be successful you will possess:

Life science, healthcare and/or business degree  Minimum 8 years of experience in drug development and/or clinical research  Understanding or awareness of clinical outcome assessments, electronic deployment and DCT approaches Excellent knowledge of ICH /GCP, FDA and country regulations Strong customer service orientation  Demonstrated professionalism and presentation of a positive image of the company  Demonstrated understanding of applicable medical/therapeutic area knowledge and medical terminology  Excellent communication and listening skills, confronting constructively  Fosters learning and the advancement and development of others  Representative, outgoing and client focused Effective organizational, managerial, and time management skills  Strong analytical and problem resolution skills  Demonstrated ability to lead by example Demonstrated personal integrity and ethical values  Demonstrated ability to see the bigger context and act appropriately  Ability to establish and maintain effective working relationships with co-workers, managers, direct reports, internal and external clients  Ability to work in a fast-paced challenging environment of a growing company  Proficiency with various computer applications such as Word, Excel, and PowerPoint required as well as CTMS.
