Are you ready to join a team of talented engineers and shape the future of water infrastructure? Join our dynamic and multidisciplinary Water Engineering team as a BIM Coordinator in our rapidly growing Exeter, Bristol, Cardiff, St Albans, Basingstoke, Croydon, Birmingham, Manchester, Leeds, Chesterfield, Glasgow, Edinburgh, or Belfast offices, while taking advantage of our flexible hybrid working model.

Using the latest design software and common data environments, you'll work to industry best practice standards with support from our industry experts. Here’s what you’ll do:

  • Support Project Delivery: Assist the Project Delivery Manager in developing BIM Execution Plans, Master Information Delivery Plans, and all aspects related to facilitating the digital delivery of data and meeting contracted milestones.
  • Utilise Digital Tools: Encourage the use of digital tools to review, influence, and enhance design quality processes.
  • Champion BIM: Promote, articulate, and lead BIM behaviors on the project.
  • Manage CAD Deliverables: Oversee CAD deliverables for multiple projects, ensuring completion within budget.
  • Project Support: Provide direct support and production for assigned projects, creating models as required using standards to meet job requirements, including appropriate level of detail, metadata population, and classification data incorporation.
  • Report and Review: Report model coordination issues and host design team meetings to review these issues.
  • Support Design Staff: Assist design staff with the Building Information Modelling system, providing 3D models using project specifications and content.
  • Maintain Standards: Support the Digital Engineering Lead in maintaining CAD standards, best practices, and processes for modeling, content creation, and advanced digital developments.

Qualifications

Ready to push the limits of what’s possible?

Here’s what we’re looking for:

  • Certified Postgraduate or Equivalent Qualification: In Civil/Structural Engineering.
  • Individual BIM Certification: ISO19650 or BS1192 certification with a recognized body (e.g., ICE, BSi, BRE) is an advantage. Must have working knowledge of the ISO 19650 standards suite and related BIM standards.
  • Project Information Delivery: Experience in delivering project information in accordance with BIM standards.
  • Software Proficiency: Proficient in using Revit and/or Civil 3D, with experience in validating and coordinating models in Navisworks or similar software.
  • Common Data Environment Experience: Experience working in a Common Data Environment such as ProjectWise, BIM360, 4Projects, Aconex, or similar.
