We are currently in search of a seasoned Project Coordinator to oversee the management, execution, and delivery of our projects in the UK, ensuring adherence to ENGIE's standards, particularly concerning Time, Quality, and Cost from inception to completion.
Role Overview
Once a project is identified and the budget is approved, the Project Coordinator will manage all facets of the project, starting from conceptual design, engaging external consultants, and navigating the tendering process to contract finalization. The role encompasses overseeing the project from construction through to the operational phase of the site.
The Project Coordinator will offer direction and leadership to the project team, serving as the primary contact for both internal and external stakeholders.
Key Responsibilities
Key responsibilities will include regular updates on project status, covering budget, timelines, contractual matters, consultant engagement, interactions with regulatory bodies, and health and safety monitoring.
The Project Coordinator may be tasked with managing multiple projects concurrently, ensuring that comprehensive reviews, including financial, risk, and contract assessments, are conducted as necessary, and escalating issues to the Senior Management Team when required.
Required Skills and Expertise
- Outstanding communication and negotiation abilities, capable of fostering win-win agreements.
- Exceptional organizational, planning, and action management skills.
- A strong awareness of health, safety, and environmental standards, quality, costs, and schedules, with the capacity to maintain an optimal balance.
- Proficient in building positive relationships with clients, colleagues, and stakeholders.
- Skilled in utilizing IT tools such as MS Excel, MS Project, PowerBi, and BIM/PML/ERP.
- A university degree in Engineering or a related technical field.
- A minimum of 5 years' experience in managing industrial projects, such as bioenergy, energy, chemicals, or water/waste treatment, preferably within an ECP organization and on an international scale.
- A solid understanding of engineering and construction processes, ideally with hands-on construction site experience.
