Job Overview

We are seeking a highly skilled and motivated Senior CAD Technician to join our Energy Infrastructure team at Sweco. As a Senior CAD Technician, you will play a key role in the design and development of our energy infrastructure projects.

Key Responsibilities

  • Creation of 3D models in Revit/Civil 3D, including reviewing setup and management of models.
  • Production of 2D drawings for issue.
  • Ensuring BIM standards and quality of modelled information meets our client's requirements.
  • Providing technical guidance, support and training to colleagues and assist, where practicable, in mentoring and development of others.
  • Taking responsibility for the quality of BIM Models and any outputs produced.

Requirements

  • Proven experience in Revit and/or Civil 3D.
  • Experience in Navisworks and BIM360 (desirable but not essential).
  • Experience of federating models and coordination management in a Navisworks environment (desirable but not essential).
  • Proven experience of the preparation of BIM models including output documentation.
  • The ability to communicate in a fluent and positive manner with other team members and to converse with external members of the Design Team either verbally or by email when required.
