Job summary

UCLH, supported by Capital Midwife, are seeking to recruit experienced and motivated internationally educated midwives to join the UCLH Maternity workforce to deliver high standards of care to our patients, and take your career forward within an outstanding Trust. Candidates must be residents in the UK at time of placing their application.

The successful candidate will be provided with an 18-month fixed term contract, initially appointed as a band 4 pre-registration midwife, whilst preparing to take the NMC Test of Competency (OSCE). Upon successfully passing the NMC OSCE and joining the NMC register, you will progress to a band 5 registered midwife position. You will receive full financial funding to undertake and take the OSCE course and exam. Should the required competencies be met within this 18-month period, you can be supported to apply for a permanent band 6 position.

This includes facilitating care to women during the antenatal, intrapartum and period in different maternity settings.
