About the Role

We are seeking an experienced and motivated midwife to lead our cross-site education team. The successful candidate will provide strong leadership, strategic vision, and effective management to ensure the delivery of high-quality education and training programs.

Key Responsibilities
  • Provide expert advice and guidance on pre and post-registration midwifery education
  • Coordinate systems and processes to assure the quality of all educational activities
  • Support the maternity service leads to promote quality and excellence in midwifery care and maintain and improve clinical standards and experience
  • Develop and deliver education programs for midwives and other healthcare staff
  • Monitor the quality of educational programs and make recommendations for improvement
Person Specification
  • Registered midwife with significant post-registration clinical experience
  • Experience in managing pre and post-registration midwifery education
  • Experience of leading teams or change initiatives
  • Significant knowledge and experience of developing training programs and delivering teaching
