We are seeking a compassionate and skilled Midwife to join our agency and work across different hospitals in London. As a Midwife, you will provide comprehensive care to women throughout their pregnancy, labor, and postpartum period. You will work closely with expectant mothers and their families to ensure a safe and positive birthing experience. **Duties**:

- Conduct initial assessments of pregnant women, including medical history and physical examinations
- Provide prenatal care, including regular check-ups, screenings, and ultrasounds
- Monitor the progress of pregnancy and identify any potential complications
- Educate expectant mothers about pregnancy, childbirth, and postpartum care
- Assist with the management of labor and delivery, including monitoring fetal heart rate and providing pain relief options
- Perform deliveries, both vaginal and cesarean section, as needed
- Provide postpartum care to new mothers and newborns, including breastfeeding support and newborn assessments
- Collaborate with other healthcare professionals to ensure comprehensive care for patients

Qualifications:

- Certified Nurse-Midwife (CNM) or Certified Midwife (CM) credential
- Bachelor's or Master's degree in Nursing or Midwifery
- Current state licensure as a Midwife
- Strong knowledge of prenatal care, labor management, and postpartum care
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to provide emotional support to expectant mothers and their families
- Attention to detail and strong problem-solving abilities

**Job Types**: Full-time, Part-time, Temporary contract, Zero hours contract

**Salary**: £20.00-£38.00 per hour

Expected hours: 11.5 - 60.5 per week

Schedule:

- 10 hour shift
- 12 hour shift
- 8 hour shift
- Day shift
- Holidays
- Monday to Friday
- Night shift
- Weekend availability

**Experience**:

- NHS Nursing: 1 year (preferred)

Licence/Certification:

- NMC (required)
- Right to work in the UK (required)
