Role Summary
We are delighted to share that we will be recruiting a Community Hospital Therapy Professional Lead for Community Services (on a 6 month fixed term basis).
We are looking for a highly experienced rehabilitation therapist with strong leadership and communication skills. In this role there is a real opportunity to make a difference both to colleagues, patients and wider communities.

The base for this post will be discussed and confirmed with the successful candidate.
The post holder will provide professional leadership to Therapy colleagues at the four Community Hospitals (South Molton, Tiverton, Exmouth and Sidmouth) and Mardon Rehabilitation Unit. They will also provide professional support, alongside the Trainee Advanced Clinical Practitioner for Rehabilitation to therapy colleagues providing Intermediate Care rehabilitation to patients in Care Homes.
The post holder will work closely with the Director of Patient Care, Community Hospital Clinical Matron, Unplanned Pillar General Manager and wider Community services colleagues to support the delivery of a high-quality service.
This post has a key responsibility for clinical governance and effectiveness, leading on improvement and supporting the development of the Community Hospital Therapy workforce.
