Are you an experienced HR professional with a passion for strategic people partnering in a dynamic, customer-facing business environment? We're seeking a Senior People Partner to join our team and play a pivotal role in shaping and executing our people plan to support the strategic priorities of our trading group.

Reporting directly to the Head of People Partnering and Services, the Senior People Partner will lead a team of people partners and collaborate closely with executive and leadership teams to develop, deploy, and embed the people plan aligned with our Society DOES values. As a trusted advisor and coach, you'll work closely with leaders to foster great leadership, drive performance, and execute our central people team strategy.

As part of this role, your responsibilities will include: 
• Taking a key role in the business area strategic planning process, providing external insight and internal data and expert advice on risks and opportunities; translate strategy into people plans
• Providing strong leadership to People Partners, fostering a culture of accountability, collaboration, and continuous improvement; and involvement in developing people plans 
• Supporting the Head of People Partnering and Services with managing the UDSAW relationship and be the main point of contact for external legal advisors on ACAS early conciliation and tribunal claims 
• Working with the Senior Leadership teams to develop what good looks like for operational roles
• Leading on trading group specific Diversity and Inclusions activities and the delivery of its key aims and objectives 
• Accountability for delivery of People Development solutions through the People Partners and measuring the effectiveness

This role is part of a team based from our Head Office in Warwick, with a mix of working from home and in the office.

Who are we looking for?

To be successful in this role, you will: • Have experience of working in a people partnering role as a trusted advisor at a senior level in a fast moving, multi-site customer facing business is preferred 
• Have road experience in all aspects of HR including performance, L&D, Reward, Talent, Succession planning and leadership 
• Possess a commercial mindset and strong business acumen 
• Be able to operate at strategic and operational level 
• Be able to coach, challenge and provide feedback to key stakeholders to improve business efficiency 
• Have proven ability to consistently deliver and working collaboratively 
• Have strong customer focus and a commitment to quality and service 
• Be able to encourage and demonstrate strong people management skills
• Have the ability to build effective working relationships at all levels through sound intelligence and effective use of networks, enabling and encouraging collaboration and cross functional working
