In order to deliver this, we will need new regulatory frameworks for the next price control period to support this fundamental change to the energy industry.

We’re seeking a** Senior Finance Business Partner** to play a key part in the agreement of the next Electricity Transmission regulatory price control with our regulator, OFGEM. This agreement will set our revenues and financial framework for FY26-FY30, and this role will be key to delivering a positive outcome.

Managing a small team, you will be the lead finance business partner for the project ensuring our plan is strategically sound, justified and well evidenced. Your direct team will have ownership over the Opex plan, and you will have responsibility for review and challenge of the capital plan. You will be the voice of Ofgem into the business and will challenge business proposals to strengthen evidence base and ensure the Opex and Capex story reasonably reflects future workload and is efficient.

Your team will be responsible for creating narrative for operating cost performance & efficiency story as well as the numerical submission. You’ll critically assess driver of cost and liaise with function and business leads as well as Regulation team and Ofgem to justify future plan dynamics so as to influence towards optimal cost outcomes.

**About You**:
You are a Qualified Accountant (ACA, ACCA, CIMA) who has extensive Finance Business Partnering experience as well as experience of planning and forecasting. You’re a leader with strong stakeholder skills and can influence stakeholders to make optimal decision through the insight and challenge you bring. You are a self-starter who’s driven with strong commercial acumen and accounting knowledge. You’re a problem solver and are always looking at continuous improvement, you’ve implemented improvements that are effective and sustainable. You are analytical and have experience with evidence building including benchmarking and analysis of cost drivers as well as cost benefit analysis.

**What You'll Get**:
£75,000 - £85,000 per annum - dependent on experience.
