JobDescription:

Developproject plans work packages obtain approvalsCreate and manage the assigned work package within theoverall project plan including all components documents andreports. Manage expectations of seniorexecutives and other stakeholders Participatein steering committee and stakeholder forumsProvide project and/or portfolio reporting tomultistakeholders at senior executive levels.Manage stakeholders interests and expectations throughoutthe life cycle of the project Proactivelyidentify risks and issues pertaining to the assigned work packagereport them to the overall Project Champions and the PortfolioTeam. Identify and mitigate strategies and responses to the issuesand risks. Work with vendors to successfullynegotiate and deliver mutually beneficial multiyear contracts forongoing warranty maintenance and support of the technology such asthe Computer Aided Dispatch application Ensurethe development and delivery of business cases where applicable (iemanagement board submissions) to seek approval for long termsupport & maintenance contracts with Ministry vendors. Work with Ministry (or assigned) Legal andProcurement entities within the OPS to ensure Ministry processesare adhered to and Ministry interests are incorporated whileestablishing the contract. Coordinate projectplans with Public Safety Operations Ensureproject implementation plans have no adverse impact to publicsafety operations. Financial management ofproject Ensure a high level of fiscal controland accountability for project budget. Forecast changes to thebudget and communicates planned vs. actual budget as the projectprogresses Manage multiple concurrent projectsto Public Sector I&IT Standards VendorManagement Creating detailed business analysisdocuments Outlining problems opportunities andsolutions for a business Develop manage andexecute project charters integrated project plans schedules andcommunication plans including obtaining approvalsBudgeting and forecasting Issue andRisk Management and Mitigation

NOTE

The resource will be required to travel to multipledispatch centres/CACCs across the province to provide projectsupport and coordinate/remediate the telephony training in order toimplement the new PSRN solution.

Extension/Amendment Attestation:Extension(s) only allowed using unused days/funds left on contract.No additional funds will be added beyond the maximum contract valueand any extension options included in the original SOW. HSC mayexercise its option(s) to extend the SOW beyond April 5 2025 for upto one additional extension term of one year. Such extension(s)will be allowable only if the Master Service Agreement is extendedbeyond April 5 2025 and be upon the same terms conditions andcovenants contained in the SOW.

Assignment Type: This position iscurrently listed as Hybrid as consultants will be required to workpartly in the physical workplace and partly remotely. The detailsof this arrangement will be at the Hiring Managers discretion.

10years of experience with Program/ Project Management Working knowledge of industrystandard such as Project Management Institute (PMI)Demonstrated management experience in Project Managementmethodologies producing documentation collaterals andartefacts Demonstrated experience with projectand software development lifecycle (SDLC).Demonstrated IT project management experience managingall phases (concept definition planning implementation andcloseout) of large scale complex IT projects.Effectively manages large project budgets and ensures ahigh level of fiscal control and accountability including estimatesforecasts and reconciliation/confirmation of actuals.Demonstrated experience with Enterprise ContentManagement Demonstrated experience leading thegathering and developing the requirements for project charters andintegrated project plans Demonstratedleadership experience identifying and evaluating specific issues orrisks providing options analysis and recommending action plans tomitigate the risks Demonstrated experiencewith project management tools: MS Project Clarity/Planview orequivalents for standard status reporting
