Inside Sales Representative

Right Now Group are working with a Global Freight Forwarder who are looking to expand their Sales Department at their Birmingham Office. They are looking for an Inside Sales Representative to come aboard and assist with driving value to their clients supply chain within a commercially driven team.

The ideal candidate will have had some previous Inside Sales experience, ideally with a knowledge of the Freight Industry.

Responsibilities:

  • Creation and maintenance of customer standard operating procedures
  • Having a clear financial understanding of each job file within your remit
  • Providing accurate and timely reports to department manager
  • Having ownership and taking accountability to deliver operational excellence
  • Ensuring that a customer driven ethos is always applied in actions for the business
  • Delivering accurate and timely paperwork in relation to the creation and issuance of import documentation
  • Demonstrating commercial acumen and an in depth understanding of the P&L of a job
  • Freighting and Invoicing
  • Creating operational reports and ensuring that anomalies are escalated appropriately
  • Establishing and maintaining strong working relationships with suppliers, airlines & overseas partners/agents

Requirements:

  • Professional-level proficiency in English, both written and verbal and being IT literate.
  • Confident cold caller with charisma, energy and professional telephone manner
  • Self-starter who is driven by new challenges and hitting their KPI's/Targets
  • Knowledge of Freight or Logistics and supply chain management is a bonus

Salary: £25,000
Location: Birmingham
Shift: Mon-Fri 8.30am-5pm
