A unique and exciting opportunity has presented itself for a new role to deliver, and assist with the development of, programmes offering direct holistic support to women with complex needs.

We are looking for a flexible and highly motivated person with exceptional people skills who relishes the opportunity to empower vulnerable individuals to regain control of their lives.

This role has an Occupational Requirement for both an active, practising Christian (you will participate in and lead worship within the service), and a woman.

Key Responsibilities:

The role of the Outreach Assistant Manager will operate within The Salvation Army UK&I Territory Anti-Trafficking/Modern Slavery Direct Delivery Service. It is fundamental to the Salvation Army desire to help vulnerable clients achieve positive outcomes, and as such, you will be passionate, target driven, dynamic and demonstrate an in-depth knowledge of services for women experiencing multiple disadvantage and exploitation.

The successful candidate(s) will be able to demonstrate:

A relevant qualification at level 3 with a commitment to continuous professional development A driving license and able to drive a large vehicle (campervan)

As an Outreach Assistant Manager, you will form supportive relationships with individuals to identify and address needs and issues, deliver safety information and advice, and provide chaplaincy support when requested. Working in the community you will develop partnerships with other agencies as well as supporting our volunteers.


This role has an occupational requirement that the successful candidate must be a committed and practising Christian and will be in sympathy with the doctrines of, and supportive of, the purposes and the aims and objectives of The Salvation Army.
