Job Summary

OXBO is seeking a skilled Community Liaison Officer to serve as the primary point of contact between the company and local communities affected by their solar, onshore wind, and Battery Energy Storage System (BESS) projects.

Key Responsibilities

  • Stakeholder Engagement: Build and maintain strong relationships with local communities, landowners, and other stakeholders to foster a positive and collaborative environment.
  • Community Outreach: Organize and lead public consultations, meetings, and events to communicate project details and gather feedback from local communities.
  • Issue Resolution: Address and resolve community concerns promptly, ensuring alignment with company goals and objectives.
  • Communication: Develop clear and accessible materials to keep communities informed about project developments and progress.
  • Reporting: Provide regular updates to the project team on community feedback, concerns, and engagement activities.

Requirements

Education: Bachelor's degree in Communications, Public Relations, Environmental Studies, or a related field.

Experience:

  • 3+ years in community engagement, public relations, or similar roles.
  • Experience in the renewable energy sector is a plus.

Skills:

  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to manage multiple stakeholders and resolve conflicts.
  • Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
