Role Overview

We are seeking a highly skilled Communications Specialist to join our team at Barclays. As a key member of our organization, you will play a critical role in championing the growth of our markets technology, advancing innovation and excellence.

Key Responsibilities
  • Develop and implement effective communication strategies to engage employees and promote business goals.
  • Collaborate with senior leaders to understand employee sentiment and develop insight-based employee communications.
  • Design and implement communication interventions to influence individual behavior and create a culture built on the Barclays Mindset.
  • Lead and develop a high-performing team, building individual skills and team capabilities.
  • Consult on complex issues, providing advice to People Leaders to support the resolution of escalated issues.

  • Strong attention to detail and excellent written communication skills.
  • Relationship management in a complex, matrix environment.
  • Adaptability and flexibility as part of a new and growing team.
  • Multi-tasking with competing priorities.
