Job Description

As a Cyberspace Communication Specialist with the Royal Air Force, you will play a crucial role in ensuring the security and integrity of our communication systems. Your primary responsibility will be to safeguard our IT networks from cyber threats and ensure the smooth operation of our communication systems.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Safeguarding our IT networks from cyber threats
  • Coordinating the RAF's vast array of information
  • Establishing overseas networks and equipment for Deployed Commanders and Air Traffic Services
Requirements:
  • Be aged 16 – 47 years old (Must attest before 48th birthday)
  • Be a citizen of the United Kingdom or holder of dual UK/other nationality
  • Commit minimum 3 years post Phase Two Training
  • Pass the fitness test
Training and Development:

You will receive basic and specialist training in your field, including a 10-week basic recruit training course at RAF Halton and a 10-month specialist training course at RAF Cosford. You will also have the opportunity to gain additional qualifications and experience in your role.
