Job summary
This is a cross site role to provide corporate Trust strategic leadership for the Advanced Clinical Practice (ACP) agenda.
Provide expert input into divisional workforce development planning to provide expert advice and where appropriate support senior divisional leaders to implement ACP roles in place in line with the Trust strategic agenda
Maintain an overview and lead the development of the Trust Trainee ACPs in line with the Trust SOP which will include:
Recruitment and selection of trainee ACPs.
Overview of ACP progress on pathway with the ACP Clinical Educators.
Linking with the HEIs for student progression, including tripartite meetings.
Please note interviews will be held face to face.
Main duties of the job
Lead the training provision within LGT for our tACPs, which will include the provision of Trust ACP training days and maintaining an online learning platform for this workforce
Lead and manage the ACP Clinical Educator team (secondment).
Liaise with internal divisions and external providers in relation to Advancing practice, including but not exclusive to: Health Education England, London Region, Higher Education Institutions (HEIs) and national forums.
