The appointed lead for advanced clinical practice will oversee the comprehensive development and leadership of Advanced Clinical Practitioners (ACPs) across the Trust. This role involves collaboration with professional leads to enhance advanced practice initiatives. The individual will assist the Chief Nurse in formulating, leading, and executing a multi-professional strategy for advanced practice, which includes establishing clear career pathways for ACPs. Additionally, they will provide specialized advice, education, consultancy, and clinical expertise.

Job Responsibilities
The ideal candidate will have a proven track record in a senior capacity within a multi-professional team, showcasing strong leadership and management capabilities. Establishing credibility with peers and being a visible leader within a high-performing team is essential. Extensive experience in patient care at an advanced practice level, coupled with solid clinical and management skills, is required. The candidate should possess excellent communication abilities to support colleagues, patients, and their families throughout the care continuum. Furthermore, they should be adept at motivating and engaging others to ensure that our services align with the Trust's values, demonstrating a pioneering mindset that is willing to challenge conventional practices.

- Registered clinical professional
- MSc in advanced clinical practice
- Non-Medical Prescribing (NMP)
- Leadership qualification
