Role

Tasks Collaborate closely with General Managers (GMs) and Regional General Managers (RGMs) to create and implement a cohesive and agreed-upon sales strategy for the hotels. Work with the central Revenue and Marketing departments, knowing what campaigns and strategies are in place and aligning the hotels’ sales activity so it is in sync when in needs to be. Ensure robust sales planning at the hotel for the corporate market and key holiday periods throughout the year, including agreeing on suitable listings, regular internal sales activities and outreach actions. Oversee and manage the hotel’s social media accounts, using appropriate messaging to create awareness of the hotels and what they can offer. Ensure weekly hotel sales activities are in place and targeted to deliver in line with agreed hotel targets.

A naturally sales-focused individual, who is confident communicating to all types of people. Has great industry contacts (quality and volume) and uses their networks exceptionally well to achieve an overall goal of increasing sales (knowledge of the Manchester tourism industry is a must, additional knowledge of the Chester region is a plus). Can think through sales commercially, making sure planned activity drives profit as well as sales. Happy to work with the wider group marketing and revenue team to coordinate activity to get the best results. Able to travel regularly for the role, including overnight stays where needed. Be good with IT, being able to produce and analyse sales reports and data regularly.
