Teaching Personnel are recruiting a SEN Support Teaching Assistant on behalf of a primary school in the OL8 area. This is a temporary position with full-time hours (8.30-3.30, Monday-Friday) with the potential to become a permanent role.

About the role:

  • Provide support and assistance to students with Special Educational Needs (SEN) in a classroom setting.
  • Implement individualised learning plans and strategies as directed by the class teacher.
  • Assist with classroom management and behaviour support for SEN students.
  • Support students with personal care needs if required.

About you:

  • Good understanding of SEN strategies and interventions.
  • Effective communication skills and ability to work as part of a team.
  • Experience working with SEN students in an educational setting preferred, but not essential.

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
