Job Description:

Are you a compassionate and skilled Teaching Assistant looking for an exciting opportunity to make a difference in a reputable Primary School? We have a full-time 1:1 SEN Teaching Assistant role available in Speke (L24) working alongside a child in Year 1 with ASD. This long-term position will run indefinitely, as the child has a continuous support requirement in place.

Responsibilities:

Student Support: Provide individualized assistance to a student with special educational needs, focusing on their learning and developmental requirements.

Collaboration: Work closely with teachers, parents, and other professionals to implement personalized learning plans and strategies for the child.

Resource Preparation: Assist in preparing teaching materials and resources that cater to the specific needs of the specific student.

Classroom Assistance: Support the teacher in maintaining an organized and inclusive classroom, ensuring a positive learning atmosphere for all students.

Behavioural Support: Implement behaviour management techniques and interventions to promote positive behaviour and social interactions.
